Armstrong 104 Flute with gold plated head joint circa1986

This is a W T Armstrong 104 Flute made in Elkhart Indiana, Serial number  36 20239 circa1986. It has a gold plated head joint which makes it a very nice looking flute

It has been stripped down, cleaned, lubricated, re-padded and sterilised. It has no dents or dinks that I can see and for it's age, which I believe is approximately 17 years old, it is in very good condition. The case   is nice and clean.

I am a 73 year old retired scientific instrument technician and I refurbish broken or damaged woodwind and brass musical instruments, even where necessary replating in gold or silver by the tank plating method. I try to bring the instruments up to as a good a standard as I can, but not being a practising musician, they may need some tweaking and key adjustment, this hopefully will be negligible.
