FISM Rampone and Cazzani Milano Flute

This Italian made FISM Rampone & Cazzani Milano flute in excellent condition with no dents and just a very slight mark by the mouthpiece. Suitable for beginners and intermediates alike, the flute comes in a hard black case which is padded (dark blue) on the inside but slightly worn around the edges on the outside. Also included is the cleaning rod and a soft leather carrying case.

The Rampone family flourished as instrument makers in Milan from the 1850's and, in 1879, became the first Italian maker of Boehm flutes. In 1912 Egidio Rampone went into partnership with Battista Cazzani, soon marrying his daughter.  Following Cazzani's death in 1920, the firms merged into "Ditte riunite A. Rampone e. B. Cazzani e .
